Richard van der Beek was born in The Netherlands and completed his formal education in Hotel Management in The Hague. Richard moved to Israel in 2003 working for two decades in tourism. During this time he had the privilege to travel the world extensively as a marketing manager, promoting and speaking about Israel.

Richard has had the satisfaction of bringing many thousands of tourists to Israel and witnessed first-hand the impact it made on their lives. As they saw the Land through the lens of the Bible, they experienced the faithfulness of God to His People and to the Land. Richard also has a background in management, business, and Israeli real estate. He is married with three children.
