The foundations of SOLU were laid in the fires of a 24/7 house of prayer, with a group of hungry teenagers gathering weekly to worship and cry out to God. From a weekly prayer room gathering to the streets of downtown Jerusalem and now through ministry across Israel and into the nations – a highway is being built to prepare the way of the Lord!
Based today in the Judean Desert, Shilo and Sarah Ben Hod keep prayer and worship at the heart of everything SOLU does. From this foundation, the ministry writes, records and releases original worship music, particularly in Hebrew, carrying a new sound from Zion to both Israelis and an international audience. SOLU has released five studio albums, as well as numerous singles, live recordings and Hebrew Worship Sessions filmed in the prayer room, the desert and locations around Jerusalem. Their music and videos have reached millions of people, while SOLU’s music is streamed in more than 100 countries.
Whether worshipping in the desert, serving the local Body of Messiah or travelling internationally, SOLU carries a vision to be “a voice crying in the wilderness” and to build a highway in preparation for the coming King.
