For delegates from visa-exempt countries, please check this website regarding the new requirement of an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Israel as a tourist: https://israel-entry.piba.gov.il/learn-about/. It is currently scheduled to be required beginning 1 January 2025.
It is the delegate's responsibility to ensure he/she has the necessary medical and travel insurance and, if necessary, to register the trip with their country's embassy or consulate in Israel. We recommend reading the national insurance website regarding conditions of eligibility for recognition as hostile actions casualty. While the ICEJ cannot and will not endorse one insurance company over another, here is an option of medical insurance for tourists.
