Ramin Parsa

Iranian Pastor

Ramin Parsa is a pastor, evangelist, author and Bible teacher who has a dramatic personal story of spiritual transformation as an Iranian-born Muslim who became a Christian and today lives in Israel and defends the Jewish state.

Ramin was born and raised in Iran as a strictly devout Shi’a Muslim. However, a series of encounters led him to doubt and ultimately reject the Islamic practices and teachings that he had embraced since childhood. Deeply disillusioned, Ramin even considered suicide, until at age 19 he discovered Jesus and became a Christian, transforming his life but also making him a target of harsh Muslim persecution. He fled first to Turkey and then the United States, where he studied and answered the call into ministry. Ramin pastored The Good Shepherd Church, a multicultural fellowship in Southern California, for some ten years. He then met and married an Israeli believer and the couple moved to Israel, arriving just before the Hamas massacres of October 7, 2023. Ever since, he has supported Israel’s cause in defeating its enemies, including the Islamist regime ruling over his native Iran. This includes helping to feed Israelis families impacted by the ongoing war.

Ramin’s book “From Glory to Ashes” recounts his remarkable journey of faith from Iran to America.
