Dr. Rev. Saleem Shalash is the founder and senior pastor of Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth, the city where he was born and raised. He studied at Bethlehem Bible College and the Israel College of the Bible and later completed doctoral studies in theology.
Together with his wife, Nisreen, he founded Home of Jesus the King Church in 2009. Today, the congregation has become an active community with a strong emphasis on discipleship, evangelism and practical outreach to both Arabs and Jews.
A central theme of Shalash’s ministry is reconciliation. Through humanitarian projects, personal relationships and Gospel outreach, his congregation seeks to build bridges between Jewish and Arab communities and to demonstrate reconciliation in practical ways.
While firmly rooted in his local ministry in Nazareth, his vision extends beyond Israel to the wider Middle East and the global Church. Shalash has increasingly become an international voice for Arab Christians in Israel, speaking to churches, conferences and Christian audiences globally about Israel, the Middle East and reconciliation through Jesus.
